摘要: A two stage carbonizer places as much heat possible into the gas streams entering to drive off volatile matter and reduce tars oils by thermal cracking which is enhanced addition of sorbent. The operates a fluidized bed with combustor providing flue one fluidizing medium preheated air other. This allows coal be devolatilized thermally cracked due direct contact hot gas. device designed operate at high pressures from about 12-20 atmospheres.
