摘要: A Kalman Filter based solution to running train localization problem from station (in short distance) has been explored. Signal system aided with track side installed hardware is a classical approach, however, involves high operational cost due installation, maintenance and protection against vandalism. Recent development sought on the principles of intelligent distributed control system, which operates data supplied by both board navigation sensors satellite system. Such prone failure transient nature in adverse situations. filter estimator constructed only on-board sensor proven be at par. However, such full order many states its dynamics, incurs computational cost. Present work discusses design implementation reduced data, solve problem. Simulation results are presented establish effectiveness proposed filter.
