摘要: The effect of copper on the growth rate cyclopoid copepods and survival rotifers was determined in natural water with without addition complexing agent Tris. Free concentrations were estimated, both by cupric ion electrode from bioassay data, making use known ability Tris increase total tolerated after addition. Growth rates directly related to free indicating that copper-Tris complex not toxic these animals. Rotifer similar at equivalent 1 mmole/L Tris, but 3 resulted slightly lower equivalently concentrations. calculated data compared well measurements all cases except when using for rotifers, overestimated.
