摘要: OBJECTIVES To determine the prevalence of hepatitis B antigen and anti-hepatitis C virus (HCV) antibodies in blood donors, hospital employees, patients suspected to have liver disease, hemodialysis patients. METHODS This study was conducted from April 1997 through September 1999 as a based Hajjah, Republic Yemen. All healthy unit were included this study. The (HbsAg) measured IMX system (Abott) using monoclonal anti-HBs assays. Hepatitis screened by same HCV version 3.0 [Third generation (Recombinant HCr43, c200, c100-3, NS5)]. RESULTS The donors for HbsAg 7868 2434 with 9.8% 1.1% virus. Two hundred employees rate 1.5% 0.5% referred selectively testing 1229 749, 14.9% 8.8% anti-HCV, double infection (both HCV) recorded 8 forming 3.2% positives (in 0.4% total). CONCLUSIONS high Hajjah governorate, Yemen both risky groups except employees.
