Síndrome de Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber: associação do tratamento operatório à escleroterapia por espuma

摘要: The Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber Syndrome is the association of hemangioma, venous ectasia, and hypertrophy affected body segment. We report case a 39-year-old male followed-up since 1993 due to onset symptoms in left lower limb. He was treated only with use elastic stockings general measures. Over years, he had worsening stasis, bone hypertrophy, skin hyperpigmentation. Color-coded Doppler ultrasonography limbs showed patency deep system, overflow, segmentar insufficiency greater saphenous vein signs thrombophlebitis, insufficient tributary veins. In order improve ligation sapheno-femoral junction retrograde foam sclerotherapy (polidocanol 3%) resection veins were performed. patient discharged first postoperative day has been followed as an outpatient, presenting significant improvement symptoms.
