Metformin-associated lactic acidosis in Sweden 1977–1991

摘要: Since the withdrawal of phenformin in 1978, use metformin has increased from 13,500 to 22,00 patient years/year. During period 1977–91 a total 18 cases — associated acidosis was reported, which 16 had lactic acidosis.
