摘要: Abstract Characteristics of laminar lifted flames stabilized in a nonpremixed jet issuing from small nozzle into ambient air have been studied experimentally. Results show that near the flame base has tribrachial structure composed lean premixed flame, rich and diffusion extending downstream same point. A simple theoretical formula for liftoff height based on boundary layer type theory predicts increases with increasing flow rate Schmidt numbers range Sc > 1 or 1) while methane ethane (0.5
