摘要: In this article, a steady-state mathematical model was developed and experimentally evaluated to inves- tigate the effect of influent flow distribution volume ratios anoxic aerobic zones in each stage on to- tal nitrogen concentration effluent step-feed biological removal process. Unlike previous modeling methods, can be used calculate rates ammonia nitrate thereby predict concentrations ammonia, nitrate, total effluent. To verify simulation results, pilot-scale experimental studies were carried out four-stage step feed Good correlations achieved between measured data which proved validity model. The sensitivity predictions analyzed. After verification validity, process optimally operated for five months using criteria design oper7tion. During period, all below 5mg.L- , with more than 90% efficiency. Keywords activated sludge, removal, optimization, simulation, model,
