摘要: When lifting two objects with equal weight but different size, we judge the smaller object to be heavier. This size-weight illusion has been intensively tested by recruitment of fingertip grip forces during precision lifting. Previous findings have suggested that perceptual (object size) prediction can influence sensorimotor (anticipatory force scaling these predictions could processed independently. study investigates whether anticipatory according properties critically depends on integrity posterior parietal cortex (PPC) and how a deficit may affect illusion. Here, report case patient, F.S., large left temporal lesion intruding into limb apraxia, who did not show size whereas matched controls did. However, patient's perception was only impaired his ipsi-lesional hand Our suggest particularly responsible for both hands process involving motion.
