摘要: Abstract We present an experimental study on evolution of dumbbell-shaped ZnO microstructures. Structure, shape, size and optical properties were monitored by means scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, photoluminescence spectroscopy, respectively. Our results show that a crystalline phase is formed. A uniform distribution randomly oriented microstructures observed. Near band edge as well deep level visible emissions confirmed there are intrinsic defects in the system. Emissions extending from UV region to these good quality material which can be used photocatalytic field.
