摘要: This study aimed at assessing whether psychosocial predictors of controlled eating and weight loss also predict emotional eating, how differing weight-loss treatment methods affect those variables. Women with obesity (M = 47.8 ± 7.9 years; BMI = 35.4 ± 3.3 kg/m2) were randomized into groups either phone-supported self-help (Self-Help; n = 50) or in-person contact (Personal Contact; n = 53) intended to increase exercise, improve behaviors, reduce over 6 months. A multiple regression analysis indicated that baseline mood, self-regulating body satisfaction, eating-related self-efficacy significantly predicted (R 2 = 0.35), mood as independent predictors. Improvements 6 months on each measure greater in the Personal Contact group. Changes self-regulation, change 2 = 0.38), all variables except self-regulation being an predictor. Decreased was associated loss. Findings suggest interventions should target specific factors eating. The administration cognitive-behavioral through personal might be more beneficial for improvements than formats.
