摘要: The paper presents the model of a voltage source converter -high direct current (VSC-HVDC) suitable for optimal power flow (OPF) solutions using Newton's algorithm. VSC-HVDC's ability to provide independent control converters ac magnitudes and phase angles relative system voltage, which allows use separate active reactive loops regulation, is well represented by model. In this new development in Newton OPF, VSC-HVDC equations are incorporated directly into matrix W unified solution single frame-of-reference. multipliers method used handle all inequality constraints variables, leading highly efficient OPF constrained networks. approach does not require structural changes linearised during iterative process method. effectiveness its proposed implementation demonstrated means two sample systems.
