An integrated fire detection and suppression system based on widely available video surveillance

摘要: An integrated system based on video surveillance is presented for automatic fire detection and suppression. The composed of two modules, including module makes full use traditional CCD cameras recognition. Some spatio-temporal features, such as color motion, are extracted to detect in real time by utilizing sequential image processing techniques. Once a detected, the will control suppression extinguish automatically. It mainly consists device, mobile water gun. Experiments performed large space hall show that can about few seconds after ignition automatically suppress quickly.
