摘要: The polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (PIGR) mediates transport of IgA and IgM antibodies across mucosal glandular epithelia. Several studies have utilized immunohistochemistry to demonstrate that PIGR expression varies in different types lung carcinoma, is down-regulated during tumor progression. We previously shown cultured cell-lines basal transcription the gene regulated by factors USF1, USF2 AP2. To examine mechanism which RNA was microdissected from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded carcinomas (14 adenocarcinomas 8 squamous cell carcinomas). Levels PIGR, AP2-α mRNA were quantified real-time reverse transcriptase–polymerase chain reaction normalized for housekeeping GAPDH. levels decreased relative adjacent non-tumor tissue, inversely correlated with stage differentiation. USF1 reduced while elevated. Multivariate regression analysis demonstrated increased predictive majority moderately differentiated carcinomas.
