摘要: Abstract Exobasidium vexans, a basidiomycete pathogen, is the causal organism of blister blight disease in tea. The molecular identification pathogen remains challenge due to limited availability genomic data sequence repositories and cryptic speciation within its genus Exobasidium. In this study, nuclear internal transcribed spacer rDNA region (ITS) based DNA barcode was developed for E. address problem background speciation. isolation vexans strain confirmed through morphological studies followed by utilizing ITS barcode. Phylogenetic analysis on Maximum Parsimony (MP), Likelihood (ML) Bayesian Inference (BI) as strain. Further, BI using BEAST mediated estimation divergence time evolutionary relationship process Yule diversification model wherein approximated have diverged Paleozoic era. study thus sheds light barcode-based species delimitation
