Reports in the literature have offered discussions of feasibility, efficacy, and safety balloon-assisted Guglielmi detachable coil (GDC) placement wide-necked intracranial aneurysms, which was first described by Jacques Moret as “remodeling technique.” In this article authors summarize their results a subset aneurysms treated with GDCs using remodeling technique.
