摘要: Prediction for malignancy of pancreatic endocrine tumors (PET) is often a formidable challenge the pathologist. The authors evaluated role proliferative activity and progesterone receptor protein (PgRP) in predicting prognosis survival PET. Twenty-three functioning (FT) 31 nonfunctioning (NFT) were mitotic immunostaining Ki-67 antigen, proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), on paraffin sections. results expressed as percentage (index) immunoreactive or mitosing cells. All 54 cases showed PCNA, valuable index, whereas only fraction (25 cases) exhibited PgRP expression. PCNA indexes correlated strongly between themselves to an inverse relationship was observed proliferation status both FT NFT. Although univariate analysis that Ki-67, indexes, stage, immunoreactivity hormones other than insulin, diameter, type tumor statistically survival, Cox's regression method let index emerge independent predictor using cutoff value 5%
