摘要: A freeze-fracture study of Xenopus embryos at the eight-cell stage revealed presence tight junctions and small aggregations 120 diameter intramembranous particles. These consisted up to ten particles resembled forming gap junctions. Examination early blastulae showed that fully developed were present, apparently occurring very infrequently. results support contention specialized mediate electrical coupling during amphibian development.
