摘要: In this study, we prepared a series of thermosensitive polymers with low polydispersity index (PDI) values by nitroxide-mediated controlled radical polymerization (NMRP) 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperdinyloxy nitroxide (TEMPO) as stable nitroxide-free radical. Poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAAm)-block-poly(N-tert-butyl (PNTBA) was successfully synthesized, first, through N-isopropyl acrylamide to obtain the reactive polymer PNIPAAm-TEMPO and, second, addition N-tert-butyl (NTBA). The added molar fraction NTBA during second adjusted accordingly final product, (PNIPAAm-block-PNTBA), which had targeted lower critical solution temperature (LCST). result shows that synthesis method used in study effectively formation PDI. block copolymer, PNIPAAm-b-PNTBA (molar ratio = 9:1), LCSTs range 27.7–39.8°C, obtained living PNIPAAm–TEMPO. Specifically, 5 wt % aqueous ratio = 9:1) an LCST 37.4°C; close body temperature, 37°C. showed potential for use biomedical applications. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym.
