摘要: Abstract A fluorescein–sugar conjugated chromo-fluorogenic turn ‘on’ probe (FG) has been synthesized for detection of Cu 2+ . The FG comprises fluorescein as an efficient fluorophore and a sugar moiety, viz., galactose the binding unit. inclusion into led towards its good water compatibility. When was added in 70% aqueous HEPES buffered solution (pH 7.4) FG, absorbance fluorescence spectral pattern same were modulated dramatically with observation absorption emission bands at 632 515 nm, respectively. limit from titration calculated 6.32 nM which further establishes high sensitivity studies interaction indicated metal ion triggered spirolactam ring opening mechanistic pathway sensing phenomenon.
