摘要: Optical properties of the compound multilayer metallic nanostructures are investigated both numerically and theoretically. With introduction trenches, author reports enhanced optical transmission (EOT) peak observed in smooth grating is completely suppressed extraordinary absorption (EOA) obtained, which accompanied with a vortex-like resonance. To reveal underlying physics switching from EOT to EOA, semianalytical model proposed based on lateral vertical plasmon coupling, shows good agreement simulation results. Our study may provide an alternative way for steering and/or light, might be potential applications thermal emitters, infrared imaging detectors.
