摘要: Abstract Industry is a large electricity user. China’s chemical industry (globally the largest based on sales) contributes 7% to GDP, while it consumes 11% of total consumption in and responsible for 40% CO2eq, SO2, 59% NOx 18% PM-emissions emissions. The heterogeneity GHG air pollutant emissions across grids (within country) rarely included analyses. In this paper, conservation supply curves are developed (distinguishing grids) estimate cost-effective technical potentials industry. emission factors per grid (i.e. CO2, CH4 N2O) pollutants PM2.5) calculated used quantify mitigation achieved by saving technologies period 2012–2035. Results show that significant multiple benefits can be obtained implementing efficiency measures. There differences among six terms savings abatement pollutants. 83% potential contributed North, Northwest Central grids, equal 32% baseline 2035. 2035, 129 Mt 33 kt CO2eq CH4, 571 N2O, 235 275 52 PM2.5 these three avoided as result (a reduction 31–33% compared emissions). When decision-makers set targets energy reduction, should not ignored.
