摘要: Molecular infectious disease diagnostic tests have undergone major advances in the past decade and will continue to rapidly evolve. Assays become extraordinarily simple perform, eliminating need for pre-analytic sample preparation post-amplification analysis. This allows these be performed settings without sophisticated expertise molecular biology, including locations with limited resources. Additionally, sensitivity specificity of assays is superb many offer extremely fast turn-around times. These impacts on patient care, but also some limitations.
