摘要: The Mossbauer effect enabled the magnetic hyperfine splitting (hfs) in ferromagnetic solids to be observed directly for first time. It was quickly extended measurements on antiferromagnets, ferrimagnets and paramagnets, is now well established as a probe study of materials. Applications have ranged from “old” problem state iron atoms alloys “new” materials, e.g. amorphous magnets, spin glasses, fine particle magnets multilayers. Some examples where has made an important contribution are described.
