Description of a NewDermacentor(Acari: Ixodidae) Species from Thailand and Vietnam

摘要: A new tick species belonging to the genus Dermacentor Koch, 1844, namely, filippovae n. sp., is described. All stages of this are similar those D. auratus Supino, 1897, compactus Neumann, 1901, and limbooliati Apanaskevich Apanaskevich, 2015 with which it was previously confused. Males may be distinguished from auratus, compactus, by following suite characters: conscutum broadly oval convex lateral sides, widest posteriorly; trapezium-like shape pseudoscutum; central brown patch on indistinct; coxa I internal spur narrowly triangular tapering apex external fairly long, apex; numerous spurs IV; trochanter moderate, apex.
