摘要: A new tick species belonging to the genus Dermacentor Koch, 1844, namely, filippovae n. sp., is described. Males may be distinguished from auratus, compactus, by following suite characters: conscutum broadly oval convex lateral sides, widest posteriorly; trapezium-like shape pseudoscutum; central brown patch on indistinct; coxa I internal spur narrowly triangular tapering apex external fairly long, apex; numerous spurs IV; trochanter moderate, apex. Females scutum narrow, distinct line interrupted around midlength; more rounded scutum; long alloscutal setae; moderately broad U-shaped genital aperture preatrial fold bulging anteriorly thereafter sharply sloping flat surface known Thailand Vietnam where adults were collected wild boar, Sus scrofa L., vegetation.
