摘要: Sulfur is an essential macronutrient required for proper growth of not only plants but also fungi and prokaryotes. It present in a wide variety metabolites such as amino acids: cysteine methionine, coenzymes, vitamins many others having distinctive biological functions. Plants take up sulfur from the soil form sulfate via transporters. then reduced assimilated bioorganic compounds where first stable product. This process very well described on both biochemical molecular levels. Both reduction assimilation are tightly regulated demand-driven manner. The pathway has been extensively studied over last years because important functions plant metabolism stress defence. Here we summarise up-to-date knowledge about its regulation based mainly study model Arabidopsis thaliana. We emphasize areas which little known including interconnection with other nutrients.
