Efficient content delivery in mobile ad-hoc networks using CCN

摘要: Information-centric networking (ICN) is emerging as a future network technology. It has introduced the great advantage of information dissemination with low bandwidth consumption in wired testbed networks. Recently, ICN also studied for mobile ad-hoc networks environments efficient content distribution. In existing works literature, broadcast delivery actively utilized designing new routing schemes since it seems well fitted to nature conceptually. this paper, we raise questions about research direction by analysing performance reliability and energy efficiency both unicast schemes. Our analysis shows that outperforms delivery, unless topological changes incur too much packet flooding overhead. Based on observation, present novel distribution scheme delivers manner while minimizing overhead taking features. Via ns-3 simulation, compare proposed other comparative schemes, show achieves higher under environments.
