摘要: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) promote functional recoveries in pathological experimental models of the central nervous system and are currently being tested clinical trials for neurological disorders. However, no studies have examined various roles embryonic cell derived (ES)-MSCs eliciting therapeutic effects Alzheimer's disease (AD). In present study, we investigated neuroprotective effect ES-MSCs cellular animal AD, as well safety intra-arterial administration an AD model. displayed higher viability than that bone marrow (BM)-MSCs amyloid-β (Aβ)-induced models. Moreover, efficacy autophagy induction was comparable to BM-MSCs; however, intracellular Aβ levels were more significantly reduced BM-MSCs. a rat model inhibited Aβ-induced death hippocampus promoted autophagolysosomal clearance Aβ, which concomitantly followed by decreased hippocampus. Furthermore, ES-MSC treatment Aβ-treated rats featured memory performance injected solely with Aβ. Finally, appropriate density safe free from situ occlusion or cerebral ischemia. These data support potential applications route AD.
