摘要: Abstract Osteoblasts, the cells responsible for bone formation, differentiate from mesenchymal cells. Here, we discuss transcription factors that are involved in regulating multistep molecular pathway of osteoblast differentiation. Runx2 and Osx, a newly identified zinc-finger-containing protein, expressed selectively at high levels osteoblasts. Null mutations either leads to complete absence mice. plus its companion subunit Cbfβ needed an early step this pathway, whereas Osx is required subsequent step, namely differentiation preosteoblasts into fully functioning The finding -null acquire chondrocyte phenotype implies negative regulator Sox9 phenotype. This hypothesis might have role segregation osteoblasts osteochondroprogenitors. We also recent progress studies other affect skeletal patterning development.
