摘要: Complex carbohydrates have many functions but, until recently, their were thought to be limited serving as structural polymers and energy reserves. It is now well established that complex play an important role in biological recognition. In recognition agents, are: receptors for phage bacteriocins; specific surface antigens can determine the pathogenicity of microbes, mating type, blood group tissue type eukaryotic cells; highly eukaryotes viruses, bacteria, hormones, toxins; determinants where glycoproteins go within cells, when they are secreted, taken up. We come recognize certain chemical messengers, are, fact, regulatory molecules. Results research our laboratory led us believe these messengers especially regulating growth, development, reproduction, disease resistance plants.
