摘要: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is one of the most aggressive malignancies genito-urinary tract, having a poor prognosis especially in patients with metastasis. Surgical resection remains gold standard for localized renal cancer disease, radiotherapy (RT) receiving much skepticism during last decades. However, many studies have evaluated role RT, and although traditionally considered radio-resistant, technological advances RT field regards to modern linear accelerators, as well advanced techniques resulted breakthrough therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, combination immune checkpoint inhibitors targeted agents may maximize clinical benefit. This review article focuses on management carcinoma.
