摘要: Objectives: To determine the seroprevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection among healthy children in eastern Turkey, to assess risk factors for seroconversion, and role parental status transmission H. pylori. Methods: A commercial enzyme immunoassay test IgG was used. Demographic information obtained included age, gender, socio-economic living conditions. Results: One hundred fifty-two (43.9%) 346 were seropositive. There no significant difference rates between boys girls (P > 0.05), but a rise noted with increasing age 0.05). The prevalence corresponding parents 85.4% mothers 76.3% fathers. Seroprevalence higher whose mother infected < 0.001). Conclusions: In as other developing countries, occurs early increases age. Infected parents, especially mothers, may have important within families.
