摘要: Power swings are known to occur due the presence of sudden disturbances in the power network. The oscillation power results impedance swaying and causes the impedance trajectory swing back forth within distance relay operating characteristics which may lead unintended operation. Ideally, distance relays transmission system should not trip unexpectedly during dynamic system conditions such as stable swings. Commonly, settings customized to prevent order avoid nuisance tripping. However, the electrical evolves, its complexity increases line with increasing risk of swing severity trigger unwanted operations. In recent times, the integration inverter driven generation has been increasing. penetration large scale renewable into network impact power swing characteristics yet be established. Therefore, this research will investigate the swing, critical clearing time synchronous generator the risk mal-operation large solar PV in transmission system. It is demonstrated that swing increases machine decreases the presence (solar generator) when compared an equivalent machine. Various sensitivity studies have conducted and a suitable preventive measure proposed reduce relay mal-operation swing. These important of distance malfunction so security future grid can strengthened.
