摘要: Seven spelt wheat accessions of different origin were hybridized with the susceptible bread cultivar Taichung 29 in order to study genetics their resistance yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis Westend. f. sp. tritici). One Iranian and five European found carry Yr5 Triticum aestivum ssp. spelta var. album, whereas a factor for accession 415 was confirmed be genetically distinct from Yr5. The alleles each studied showed monogenic dominant mode inheritance. Twenty-eight accessions, including those rust, subjected polyacrylamide-gel-electrophoresis variation gliadin storage protein patterns. Thirteen patterns revealed, implying presence duplicates within collection.
