摘要: Although the decision for operative versus nonoperative treatment of distal radius fractures remains subjective and is performed on a case-by-case basis, evaluation patients with concomitant osteoporosis requires understanding behavior this injury as distinct subset fractures. Age, infirmity, affect every aspect fracture. Understanding what makes these unique assists surgeons in more effective efficient treatment. The authors present current osteoporotic fragility radius, focusing epidemiology, biomechanics bone healing, its implication strategies management.
