摘要: Enterococcus faecalis has been used as a starter for fermented food and probiotics, but it can produce biogenic amine in foods also cause infectious diseases humans. The antibiotic resistance acquired by E. restricts prescriptions clinical settings. Bacteriophages EFP4 EFP7 faecalis, isolated from soil samples, impeded growth. Morphological analysis showed that bacteriophages belonged to the Siphoviridae. were susceptible temperatures above 70°C; however, stability was slightly reduced 2–3 log PFU/mL after 30 min 70% ethanol. Two did not suffer phage resistant 24 h. Therefore, EFP7, more study, are candidates use biocontrol controlled fermentation of through applications.
