摘要: Abstract The future Syrian electricity generation system has been optimally expanded based on the least-cost approach taking into account a set of policy constraints. In addition to reference scenario (RS) that reflects baseline development an alternative GHG mitigation (MS) considered. MS deals with evaluating impact adopted cost and prospects energy sources technologies emphasis renewables efficiency improvement measures. achieved reduction will amount 2 Mton CO 2 in 2020 increase steadily 4–7.8 Mton 2025 2030 respectively. cumulative over study period add up almost 54 Mton . specific emission factor case 0.42 kg /kWh compared 0.52 kg case. expected additional total discounted proposed measures come close US$ 3 Billion. resulting per generated unit arrives at 25 US$/MWh corresponding 25% current cost.
