摘要: Aim: We aim to establish the genotype and haplotype frequencies of folylpolyglutamate synthase (FPGS rs10106 rs1544105) gamma-glutamyl hydrolase (GGH rs3758149 rs11545078) variants in South Indian population (SI) study association these with susceptibility acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). also compare studied those superpopulations from 1000 Genomes Project collected phase-3 other published studies literature. Materials Methods: A total 220 unrelated healthy volunteers 151 patients ALL both sexes were recruited for study. Extracted DNA was subjected genotyping by allelic discrimination using quantitative real-time-polymerase chain reaction. Genotype details ethnicities obtained genomes project Phase 3 data. Haploview software used construct haplotypes. Results: In our study, FPGS rs1006'G' rs1544105'A' alleles found be 37% 37.2%, respectively, GGH rs3758149'T' rs11545078'T' 29.8% 16.7%, respectively. Among variants, rs1544105'AA' carriers susceptible risk (odds ratio: 2.16; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.15–4.07; P = 0.02). Haplotype structures SI significantly different (P < 0.05), except Asian superpopulation. Conclusion: influence ALL. Intra interethnic differences exist distribution variants. Therefore, impact each variant on outcome diseases may differ between populations.
