摘要: Microsensor measurements were essential in transforming invertebrate intestinal studies into modern microbiology and microbial ecology. Since only a few selected animal species have been examined so far, since several new sensors still await their application to guts, we may expect many more exciting (and maybe again groundbreaking) discoveries by this technique within the next years.
