摘要: 1500 Objectives: Tumor growth and metastasis is likely controlled by a variety of cytokines, factors angiogeneic factors. Experimental models have shown that local production IL-1 or IL-18 influences tumor metastasis. This sets up foundation for using IL-18bp-Fc-IL-1ra fusion protein as in cancer therapy. Methods: BALB/c mice received intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection 1.25 mg/kg single dose before tail vein 4T1 murine mammary carcinoma cells stably transfected with firefly luciferase (fLuc) (105 cells/mouse). Mice the control group were daily i.p. PBS, treatment protein. The burden lung was followed bioluminescence imaging (BLI). efficacy also characterized microCT FDG-PET. Results: BLI results showed significantly inhibited administration 18F-FDG/PET reduced glucose metabolism treated versus group. MicroCT, biodistribution autoradiography studies further confirmed quantification capability microPET imaging. Conclusions: therapy promising strategy to inhibit breast spread. Non-invasive techniques are capable quantify efficacy.
