Synthesis and luminescence properties of Ce3+ doped CaSiO3 nanophosphor

摘要: CaSiO3:Ce3+ Nanophosphors was prepared by Solution Combustion synthesis, with Calcium nitrate, fumed silica and ODH as starting material. The structural, morphological luminescent properties have been investigated Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD), Fourier Transform Infra-red Radiation powder samples (FTIR) Photoluminescence (PL) studies. PXRD analysis reveal triclinic phase formation. average crystalline size estimated using Scherrer's formula 32nm. FTIR spectra revealed characteristic peaks for the functional groups present in samples. Upon 377nm excitation photoluminescence of CaSiO3 doped Ce3+ particles show strong blue emission at 484nm owing to 5d-4f transitions. investigation reveals possible use these phosphors LEDs.
