摘要: Numerous Brassica napus (+) Arabidopsis thaliana somatic hybrids were screened for male sterility and aberrant flower phenotypes. Nine selected backcrossed recurrently to B. napus. The resulting lines displayed stable maternal inheritance of Nuclear organellar genomes characterized molecularly using RFLP analysis. No DNA from A. was found in the nuclear genome after six back-crosses, whilst mitochondrial contained rearranged both Each line tested had a unique pattern (mtDNA) that remained unchanged between BC3 BC6 generation. plastid consisted DNA. Five BC5 generation subjected more comprehensive investigations growth, morphology fertility. On basis these investigations, five CMS could be assigned two groups, one represented by three displaying reduced vegetative development, complete sterility, homeotic conversions stamens into feminized structures. second group, other lines, not completely male-sterile but still severely affected morphologies. These did display any reduction development. For groups only petals suffered morphological functional aberrations, while sepals pistils normal morphology. All plants fully female-fertile. Different rearrangements disturbed nuclear-mitochondrial interactions led various types growth existence numerous with different patterns involving species sequenced offers new opportunities investigate genetic regulation its associated developmental perturbations.
