摘要: A method is disclosed that can be carried out in an access network comprising a plurality of coverage areas, each area being served by RNC. The involves making determination terminal located inter-RNC boundary zone, and then, during communication session: (i) determining handoff from source to target should performed; (ii) whether or not the same RNC as area; (iii) if area, delaying until current segment session complete; (iv) RNC, handing off area.
