摘要: The IP multimedia subsystem is becoming the de facto standard for IP-based services, while wireless sensor networks are gaining in popularity due to their ability capture a rich set of contextual information. Integrating sensing capabilities WSNs IMS can open door wide range context-aware applications areas such as healthcare and pervasive gaming. We have previously proposed presence-based architecture WSN/IMS integration. This relies on two key components: gateway acting an interworking unit between IMS; extended presence server serving context information management node core network. In this article we focus design implementation these components. Furthermore, (a game personalized call control application) used concretely show how new be developed using our architecture. Performance has also been evaluated. Several important findings were made course work; one that integration with large evolving variety may never-ending endeavor - requiring constant upgrading lack APIs interaction sensors produced by different vendors. Another finding introduction application building block ensures availability additional network enables fast easy development applications, mature toolkits remains roadblock.
