摘要: An infrastructure “insurance” mechanism enables a Web site to fail over content delivery network (CDN) upon given occurrence at the site. Upon such occurrence, least some portion of site's is served preferentially from CDN so that end users desire can still get it, even if not then available origin In operation, requests are serviced in usual manner, e.g., by resolving DNS queries IP address, until detection occurrence. Thereafter, managed dynamic DNS-based request routing resolved optimal edge servers. After event caused has passed, control may be returned back server's mechanism.
