Sol–gel synthesis and characterization of V2O5 powders

摘要: Abstract V 2 O 5 particles were precipitated by the sol–gel method, then subjected to heat treatment. Samples analyzed using XRD, TGA/DTA, FT-IR, Raman and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. XRD showed an amorphous-like structure of these with beginning their crystallization, whereas TEM fibrillar morphology. In FT-IR spectrum starting sample, not all bands typical crystalline developed. The , however, a significant broadening. morphology was disappearing increase in heating temperature, at 600 °C, only big irregular shape obtained. Heating argon atmosphere up °C produced 3 7 phase as associated predominant phase.
