摘要: Publisher Summary There has been an increase in individual life expectancy throughout the developed countries with parallel increases chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease (CVD). Evidence supports fact that regular consumption of garlic can reduce factors associated disease. It suggests serum lipids hypercholesterolemic subjects and, addition, strong antioxidant properties and oxidative stress by increasing availability nitric oxide (NO), which turn reduces extent low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation. Garlic is also a reduction hypertension most widely reported property its ability to inhibit platelet aggregation healthy patients CVD. The mechanisms action prevents CVD are being addressed for maintaining heart should be encouraged. Consumers more knowledgeable regarding health issues thus have interested food components either delay or prevent available evidence indicates higher fruits vegetables leads lower prevalence risk obesity.
