摘要: A technique for determining whether or not a fluorescent material exhibits directionally dependent property, such as anisotropy chirality, involves illuminating the particle at its excitation wavelength to stimulate emission both full-frequency (fundamental) and half-frequency wavelength. The ratio of signal strength provides an indication sample's property. This spectral analysis can be used sort anisotropic particles suspended in fluid flowing through flow cytometer. For instance, present may separate racemic mixtures chiral enantiomers cells, pharmaceutical compounds, other samples.
