摘要: The synthesis and extraction properties of a copolymer comprised 10:1 molar ratio methyl methacrylate (MMA) functionalized benzocrown-6-calix[4]arene are reported. Under aqueous-dichloromethane liquid–liquid conditions, the displayed an enhanced selectivity for caesium over sodium potassium (in form their picrate salts) as compared to appropriate small molecule analogue. Further, was capable removing nitrate from aqueous solution in presence various other anionic (e.g., F−, Cl−, SO4−) cationic species K+ Na+). ability this polymeric system extract inorganic salts into dichloromethane media scaled with relative hydration energies (ΔhydG°) each anion studied (i.e., NO3− > Br− ≫ Cl− or F−).
