Some new psychoactive substances: precursor chemicals and synthesis-driven end-products.

摘要: This paper describes some of the new classes 'designer drugs' being encountered today by forensic scientists and law enforcement agencies in Europe, United States, Australia. In particular, it concentrates on cathinone derivatives, tryptamines, new-generation phenethylamines, synthetic cannabinoids. The approaches towards many these designer drugs including a discussion chemical precursors used syntheses are presented. Many today's so-called exist as result legitimate research into medical conditions natural product chemistry. A link between published open scientific literature exploitation this clandestine manufacture for illicit purposes is drawn.
